Marina Usenko, Partner in the Hospitality and Tourism Department at Commonwealth Partnership, shared fascinating insights into the dynamics of Uzbekistan's inbound tourist flow since 2017. She highlighted that the tourism sector is experiencing strong recovery growth post-pandemic, presented statistics on visitor accommodation across the country, and discussed the structure of hotel room supply in Tashkent. She noted that when the supply of modern-standard rooms doubles within a short time frame—2-3, at most 4 years—it leads to market oversaturation. Our expert proposed three ways to address this challenge.
