With the support and initiative of the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan and the consulting company Commonwealth Partnership Uzbekistan, the Real Estate Committee has been established.

The Committee includes members of AmCham Uzbekistan, representing various business sectors in Uzbekistan, including major developers, retail chains, consulting firms specializing in commercial real estate, business management, investments, and legal services. The Committee is chaired by Denis Sokolov, Partner and General Director of CMWP Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the Committee, under the auspices of AmCham Uzbekistan, is to create a professional platform for experts interested in developing Uzbekistan's real estate market; to implement, develop, and promote international standards in the country's market; and to develop initiatives to be proposed at legislative and regulatory levels. The Committee brings together AmCham members interested in discussing and jointly finding solutions to key issues in the real estate market.

The Real Estate Committee under AmCham is not a commercial organization and does not engage in brokerage, appraisal, or other commercial activities.

The Committee's activities are guided by its mission:
∙ To facilitate the implementation and promotion of international standards in the country's commercial real estate market
∙ To provide professional informational support to market participants, including tenants, owners, developers, and investors
∙ To promote market transparency and advance best global industry practices
∙ To strengthen the role of the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan as a reliable partner in fostering connections between Uzbekistan's business community and American businesses in the country.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan is a voluntary, independent association of representatives from over 140 companies and investors from the United States, Europe, and the CIS. It was established in 1997 by members of the foreign business community.
The mission of the association is to create a favorable platform for business development by empowering private sector investors in Uzbekistan through public-private dialogue.
