Alexander Petrov, Senior Director, Head of Territorial Planning and Development Department at Commonwealth Partnership Uzbekistan, participated in the Dunyo Boylab TV channel program. The topic of the broadcast was: "Strategic Planning: On the Path to Achieving Development Goals."

Together with experts Dmitry Neudachin, Lead Consultant at the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Alexey Niyazmetov, Director of Business Consulting at TOP Advisor, Alexander discussed what strategic planning is, its function, the architecture of strategic documents, as well as Uzbekistan's strategic vision, its goals, and how these goals can be achieved.

"The country has long been operating not within its own, but within international frameworks and thinking in terms of best practices. This is amazing. It is important to note that, since strategic documents and long-term vision imply breadth of thought, there is always a risk of working "for the drawer," coming up with many excellent ideas and initiatives, but leaving two key components underdeveloped: for whom are we doing this? And is it really necessary for those for whom it is being done?" noted Alexander Petrov.
