On June 6, CMWP Uzbekistan held a webinar dedicated to one of the most interesting sectors of the economy and real estate – retail and retail real estate. When choosing the webinar topic, we decided to offer a look at the market through the lens of 3 professional categories of market participants:

  1. A commercial real estate expert: this role was played by Liliya Eryomenko, Retail and Retail Real Estate Consultant at CMWP Uzbekistan team;
  2. A domestic retailer: we invited Andrey Lebedev, Development Director of Union Space, one of the largest and oldest franchise companies in Uzbekistan, to participate;
  3. An international retailer entering the Uzbek market for the first time: we accepted the invitation to participate in the webinar from Jan Grunt, International Development Director of LPP S.A., one of the most powerful retail chains of Polish origin.

All participants in the discussion are united by their love for retail, for Uzbekistan, and a sincere desire to contribute to the prosperity of the Republic and the industry.

  1. What does the retail real estate market in Uzbekistan look like today, several years after reforms?
  2. What are the expectations of international retail when entering the market, and what do they encounter in practice?
  3. How is local retail reacting to new formats and the emergence of new international players?
  4. Why is professional development becoming the basis for sustainable income, rather than just a construction project?

These and other questions are addressed in the CMWP Uzbekistan webinar.
