On October 7-8, Tashkent hosted the second international business forum and exhibition Georgia – Uzbekistan: Silk Road, which brought together representatives of Georgian and Uzbek businesses to discuss market opportunities and develop business ties.
On the first day of the business program, Denis Sokolov, CEO of CMWP Uzbekistan, presented an overview of the Uzbek commercial real estate market and participated in the panel discussion Understanding the Uzbek Market: Opportunities, Challenges, and Business Realities. The discussion focused, as always, on the market's potential, the specifics of doing business in the country, and opportunities for international cooperation.
On October 8, CMWP Uzbekistan experts – Andrey Shmelkov, Alexey Letunovsky, Liliya Eryomenko, and Anna Olevskaya – conducted a workshop session for representatives of Georgian businesses.
The B2B meeting was dedicated to the opportunities and challenges of the local market for Georgian businesses in the development, construction, and design segments.
Such meetings allow for a transition from a general understanding of the market to a detailed discussion of its specifics: working conditions, project implementation peculiarities, and potential areas of cooperation. For companies considering entering a new market, access to local expertise is a crucial step in preparing to make investment and business decisions.
CMWP Uzbekistan continues to participate in professional dialogue, combining international experience with a deep understanding of the local real estate market.
