- February 27, Thursday - Alexey Letunovsky will speak twice at the II UrbanForum Tashkent, as a speaker and as a moderator.
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Together with colleagues from Atlas Bureau, Alexey Letunovsky will present the unique joint research with Atlas, "IQ Tashkent: Evolution of the City. Documenting the Dynamics of Tashkent's Changes."
IQ Tashkent is an in-depth review of Uzbekistan's capital, compiled by a professional team of urbanists, city planners, architects, and sociologists.
During the presentation, experts will address the most pressing issues of urban development. Here are just a few of them:
- Why it is necessary to document city changes
- Tashkent's Design Code – a tool for developing the urban environment's appearance within controlled frameworks
- Regulations and the urban environment: the interrelation with history, culture, and city development plans
